Gabrielle Teschner, an artist known for her works inspired by the steely grey Pacific coast will spend a month in Key West exploring the Gulf and Atlantic and recording natural phenomena and subtle changes.
Teschner will introduce Key West to her work through a lively narrative event in which she combines digital projections and poetic text to explore our changing seas. In addition to sharing her own observations, she will also pull in classic maritime illustrations and literary references. For this presentation, the weather and climate become characters themselves in a lively and poetic take on our changing seas.
One part performance, one part artist talk, one part environmental awakening.
