The Studios of Key West is a multifaceted organization at the heart of Key West’s cultural life, whose mission is to use the arts to foster a creative and connected island community, and promote Key West’s reputation as a place where artists can thrive and create new work. We present exhibitions, theater, concerts, classes and other programs, and provide space for artists through a nationally recognized residency program. Our growing campus includes a 16,000sf main facility with galleries, a theater, classrooms, artist studios, a bookstore and a roof terrace. A former guest house next door and an additional home nearby provide housing for visiting and resident artists.

CURRENT OPENINGS:

DIRECTOR OF EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATION

The Director of Exhibitions and Education is responsible for implementing the artistic and community goals of The Studios through exhibitions, classes, and other programs. The Director of Exhibitions and Education is a full-time salaried position, reporting to the Executive Director.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Operations Manager assists the Executive Director with the finances, operations and administration of this busy arts nonprofit. They supervise and coordinate with a range of part time staff and external vendors, including a bookkeeper and maintenance team.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER

The Customer Relations Manager is responsible for The Studios’ busy front desk operation, where tickets and artwork are sold, and memberships and donations are processed. Whether in person, or through part-time staff and volunteers whom they supervise, they are responsible for most initial impressions of The Studios.

THEATER AND FACILITIES MANAGER

The Theater & Facilities Manager is a full-time technical position. The Theater & Facilities Manager is responsible for designing and operating the lighting and sound for most theater, concerts and other events at The Studios, and for maintaining equipment in the theater and around our campus.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS TEAM

The Customer Relations Associates are most customers’ first impression of The Studios of Key West, and play a vital role in our busy art center. We are looking for a dynamic, creative person to join our team and Live the Creative Life.
