SORRY, THIS CONCERT IS SOLD OUT
Tom Rush’s shows are filled with the rib-aching laughter of terrific storytelling, the sweet melancholy of ballads and the passion of gritty blues. Although he’s known for his live performances, Rush’s albums are also legendary; The Circle Game, according to Rolling Stone, ushered in the singer/songwriter era. Rush will be joined by special guest Matt Nakoa for this concert.
Old Town New Folk Series sponsored by Blue Heaven
concert sponsored by Turtle Kraals

His distinctive guitar style, wry humour and warm, expressive voice have made him both a legend and a lure to audiences around the world. His shows are filled with the rib-aching laughter of terrific story-telling, the sweet melancholy of ballads and the passion of gritty blues.
Matt Nakoa is an award-winning songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. A modern troubadour, he makes his home on the highways and concert stages of America, and appears regularly with folk music icon Tom Rush. The Boston Globe says of Nakoa, “Between his piano chops and heartfelt originals on guitar, he drops jaws.”
