Sharon West is an artist whose work is inspired by her rich upbringing and cultural experiences. As the daughter of a U.S. military officer and a fine artist, Sharon grew up moving frequently, including time in Europe where she was immersed in art and diverse cultures. These experiences, paired with early memories of her mother’s studio, fueled her lifelong passion for creativity and a strong sense of patriotism, which is reflected in her work.

Although Sharon studied communications at Virginia Tech, she pursued creative outlets such as interior design and furniture painting. After raising her three children, she reignited her passion for painting, exploring mixed media and developing her signature textured impasto style using palette knives and bold, vibrant strokes. Today, her art draws inspiration from nature, animals, music, and patriotic themes, aiming to bring joy and color to her collectors’ spaces. Follow her on Instagram @sharonwestfineart.
