The secret to a compelling film is the narrative. The narrative is what makes cinema so popular to movie fans. The story, however, not unlike literature, must have structure, which begins with the screen play, and characters to advance the theme. What makes cinema unique is it must also use technology to make the story believable. In this workshop participants will explore new ways to watch films by examining the form and function of the narrative.
