ARTS & EATS is a series of delicous fundraiser parties for The Studios of Key West. Each year, we present a new series of delectable parties combining food, art, and interesting locations in Key West —all supporting your creative community.

BUBBLES UP: HAPPY HOUR CONCERT WITH WILL KIMBROUGH

  • Heavy hors d’oeuvres, full bar, and Jerry Jeff Walker Sangria

With two Grammy nominations and a storied career collaborating with music legends, including a 20-year partnership with Key West’s own Jimmy Buffett, Will Kimbrough brings his exceptional talent to an intimate backyard concert hosted by Doug and Sherri Montgomery. Kimbrough, who co-wrote Buffett’s poignant final single, “Bubbles Up,” will share songs and stories from his extensive musical journey. The Montgomerys, founders of the Summer Nights concert series in Stephenville, TX, and lifelong friends of Jerry Jeff Walker, open their home for an evening of exceptional music and warm hospitality. Musician Scott Kirby opens.

 

CONTEMPORARY CUBA: AN EVENING WITH MABEL POBLET

Renowned for their exquisite collection featuring Key West, Cuban and listed contemporary American art, Susan and David Goode’s elegantly modern home offers a sophisticated backdrop for a sunset gathering with one of Cuba’s most exciting contemporary artists, Mabel Poblet. Celebrated for her luminous self-portraits and striking installations, Poblet blends bold artistic innovation with a stylish and dynamic presence. She joins us for an evening of art and conversation, offering a unique opportunity to engage with her work ahead of her Sanger Gallery exhibition this February.

FARM TO TABLE, TABLE TO SOUL: FOUR-COURSE DINNER WITH CHEF LAYLA BARR

Ancient wisdom meets the modern table in this unique four-course dinner curated by chef Layla Barr. Featuring fresh, locally sourced seafood and ingredients, Barr’s menu celebrates vibrant flavors while nourishing both body and soul, and is paired with organic, biodynamic wines for a touch of mindful indulgence. With each course, she shares the Ayurvedic philosophy and principles that inform her creations, offering insights into how food can enhance health and vitality. Hosted at the Hunter House, a serene Old Town retreat generously donated to The Studios by Blake Hunter and Murphy Davis.

Known for her infectious charm, Zoë’s music has graced films, commercials, and Broadway, and she’s toured with legends like Judy Collins, the Indigo Girls, Richie Havens, Nanci Griffith, and even opened for Pat Benatar. Nestled within Barbara and Wes Compton’s lush Old Town garden, this tropical oasis—with vibrant greenery, a stunning stone waterfall, and a serene pool—sets the perfect stage for an evening of music, laughter, and pure Key West magic.

A NIGHT IN PARIS: SOIRÉE UNDER THE STARS

A Parisian soirée unfolds beneath a canopy of stars at the home of Richard Hatch, passionate arts champion and visionary restaurateur behind Blue Heaven and Salute! On The Beach. Bound by their shared love of cuisine, longtime friend Yolande Findlay—founder of La Crêperie—joins in the fun, crafting made-to-order crêpes served alongside an array of classic French hors d’oeuvres. Vocalist Channing Lynn’s gypsy-inspired melodies weave through the evening, evoking the timeless romance of a Montmartre café.
