2016/17 season details coming soon!
Zabar Project Gallery

Stevens invites audiences into the intricate and intimate working of her mind. 30 years worth of doodles explore her experiences with anxiety, depression, motherhood, marriage, and divorce. Funny or grief-stricken, each piece is real and raw.
The drawings are specific to me, but the thoughts and emotions they express are universal. My hope is that by exposing my interior world, as weird and dark as it might sometimes be, I will touch people who have also felt and experienced these things. They will recognize themselves and their own struggles and understand they are not alone. Maybe they will feel more connected–to other human beings, and to themselves.
Since I can’t get outside of my head, as Much as I sometimes wish I could, I’m just going to invite others in.
