About the Event

La Cucaracha Chronicles returns with the second edition of La Chicharra (The Cicada) Story Slam. This live storytelling competition features a line up of Key West locals, each with a chance to tell a story, based on the theme “My Roots” No notes are allowed: stories must be told and not read.

  • Key West Mayor Teri Johnston
  • Diane Hilton May (former Fantasy Fest Queen, philanthropist)
  • Daashia Cochran (Videographer extraordinaire)
  • Plus an audience member or two
