Roxana Saberi is an American journalist, author and former Iranian prisoner. A correspondent for CBS News and Al Jazeera America, she also founded the Tehran Bureau of Feature Story News, reporting on politics, culture and women’s rights for PBS and NPR. Reporting from Tehran in 2009, she was arrested, charged with espionage and imprisoned in Iran’s notorious Evin prison for 101 days.
