•  Arts Business (45 min) – Money talk made simple. We’ll cover smart budgeting, pricing your work, and keeping your finances in check.

•  Funding (45 min) – Show me the money! Learn fundraising hacks, grant writing tips, and sponsorship strategies to support your creative career.

Meet Eric J. Lapin

Eric J. Lapin is a Principal Lecturer of Music at Clemson University, where he teaches arts entrepreneurship, career development, and music history. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership. A published author and researcher, his work explores arts entrepreneurship and creative career-building. His book, The Artist Entrepreneur: Finding Success in a New Arts Economy, offers insights into thriving in today’s arts landscape. Named Entrepreneur of the Week by the Brook T. Smith Entrepreneurial Launchpad in 2024, he brings real-world expertise to helping artists take their practice to the next level.
