Wolkowsky’s impact as a developer – his Pier House Hotel set the trajectory for Key West – was matched only by his ability to attract writers, artists and musicians with his come-as-you-are hospitality. Writer and historian Arlo Haskell shares reflections on Wolkowsky’s legacy, while Chicago-based chef Kelly Ijichi—cousin of Lynn and Jackson Kaufelt—serves artisanal Asian-inspired hors d’oeuvres.
