Vicki Roush returns with talented guitarist Larry Baeder, honoring the works of jazz guitarist Joe Pass and the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald. Throughout the mid 1980’s and into the early 90’s, Pass’ jazzy hollow-body guitar and Fitzgerald’s fullbodied voice produced stunning live performances, and birthed six albums. Roush and Baeder bring this time alive again — with old standards, as well as lesser known work, and a few contemporary tunes, too. “We’ve been threatening to do this for years, and now, ‘At Last,’ we’re going to give this experiment a go.” TSKW is glad the bet is up — so get your tickets early for what is sure to be a sold
