‘A Farewell to the Arms’, Bill Blue and friends

Tickets: $25, Available at the Door, 7:15

Bill will rock the house with music from his latest CD Mojolation and be accompanied some of Key West’s finest musicians and vocalists – the great Deb Hudson, and Melody Cooper, Guitarist extraordinaire Mike McAdam,  Dan Simpson, Smilin’ Bob Boyd on the Keyboard, the amazing horn man Kenny Fradley on Trumpet, the pride Kankakee on drums Mr. Mick Kilgos. It will be a stellar night of Key West music and a fitting tribute for the final concert at the Historic Key West Armory.

A self-proclaimed “old man of the blues”, Bill Blue has been a fixture in Key West since the late 1970s. His trademark vocals and guitar techniques set him apart from the crowd and have, over the years, caught the attention of heavyweights such as Bonnie Raitt and BB King. Last year, a British music producer happened upon Bill playing at the Green Parrot and decided to help him produce his latest album, Mojolation. The result is pure blues and pure Blue, encompassing a unique sound and sense of place. Now, for the last TSKW concert in the Armory, Bill Blue will play his complete Mojolation album, as well as many standard favorites. The concert will be rounded out by numerous notable local musicians who have played with Bill over the years.  Join us for one night only to say goodbye to the Armory in true Key West style!
