2016/17 season details coming soon!
This workshop plays with the creation of seabirds in sculptured and painted form. Through the creation of the seabirds, students explore how the form of the birds has developed based on their environments and food sources.
When we look at the form, we also see room for it playful manipulation, along with the need to maintain sculptural balance. The final part of the project involves the painting of the seabird, which can either be highly decorative or more realistic.
Students will leave with a finished product that can be kept as a toy, or given as a gift to a loved one.
