Pat left a financial position in the corporate world and decided to pursue something more creative. She took one class learning how to saw and solder and was hooked – she loved playing with fire! Metalsmithing became her passion. Wanting to learn PMC, she took many classes and received a first certification through Rio Grande. The following year, she received a second level certification through PMC Connection. She loves playing with textures and making wearable art that will not sit in a drawer, believing that jewelry should be fun and functional. Stones and crystals are used in some of her work to give warmth to the cooler metal tones. Oxidation is also used to show depth on some of the pieces. She tries to keep abreast of new developments, and loves to impart her knowledge to others. She is a juried member of the Chester County Chapter of the PA. Guild of Craftsmen, PMC Guild, and the Pa. Society of Goldsmiths.
