Maya Gallus is an award-winning Toronto filmmaker whose work has screened at film festivals around the world, including Sheffield Doc Fest, Dok Leipzig, One World International Human Rights Film Festival, Singapore Internatioanl Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Hot Docs and Frameline, among others. Most recently, she co-directed Derby Crazy Love, about the emerging roller derby phenomenon, with Justine Pimlott, with whom she formed Red Queen Productions in 2003. She is now more fully exploring narrative filmmaking in work.
