Gouache is an amazing medium. Use it with lots of water for washes and that watercolor look. Then use it out of the tube with no water and it’s opaque like oil paint but magically drys like acrylic! Whats not to like!

Mike Rooney will show you how to master this unique and fun medium for journaling, planning paintings and for using it for the final artwork.

Suggested Materials list:

Gouache in the following colors- **note-different companies call them different things so names of colors will be tough so get as close as you can to:

cadmium yellow

alizarin crimson

cadmium red

Ultramarine Blue

Cerulean Blue

larger tube of titanium white

 

synthetic water color or acrylic brushes in a variety of sizes

Multi media pad 9″x12″

roll of blue painters tape

HB pencils and sharpener

artgum eraser

palette to mix on

cup for water to wash out brushes smart phone with pics of stuff you want to paint
