The Sounds of Sun Hee Kil

Join us for a presentation by “Sunny” Kil, the Tony-Award winning NY-based sound designer from South Korea. With Broadway and theater credits ranging from The Color Purple to Choir Boy to the recent Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park As You Like It, she was an Associate Sound Designer for 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.

With host Stephen Kitsakos, Studios Artistic Associate, Sunny will talk about her journey from Seoul to New York to Key West. Key West’s Michael Marrero and actor/writer Julio Trinidad will join Stephen and Sunny to chat about their recent collaboration on The Studios’ streaming play on film, Repair. Sunny will make a presentation of her work for the Pyeongchang Olympics Opening Ceremonies as well as her process for designing for the Broadway stage.
