The summer doldrums don’t stand a chance with summer art camps! We’ve partnered with Fringe Theatre to present Bravo Theatre camp. Local theater professionals and educators lead the way through a comprehensive learning experience that touches on all aspects of the theater world. Following last year’s beloved production of Disney’s MOANA, this year, Bravo Theatre is taking on Disney’s NEWSIES JR.
Meet the Team
Penny Leto (Director) is the owner/operator of Coffee Mill Dance Studio since 1983. Lauren Thompson (Director) is a Key west native who has been performing on local stages since childhood. Ben Pegg (Sound) has been a sound designer for all of the theaters in Key West, and is an accomplished guitarist and singer songwriter. Kendall Cameron (Lighting) is technically new to lighting design but has quickly become one of the most sought after designers on the island. Jack McDonald and Rich Worth team up as set designers, mixing Jack’s whimsical illustration and construction experience with Rick’s large scale murals and public art. Gary “Sushi” Marion (Costumes) studied fashion design, trained at Jansport, worked in NYC Fashion Week for 6 years, and went on to design and star in the internationally-acclaimed Key West New Year’s Eve shoe drop. Aramis Ikatu (Spot Operator) is a lighting designer, camera operator, cinematographer, writer, actor and singer.
