Class Description

Open a new door to the night sky as we explore the hobby of amateur astronomy. The emphasis is on helping folks at all levels to experience and enjoy celestial objects that are easy and fun to see. This will be a two night series, with the first session consisting of a presentation and open forum on what is visible and where we fit within the physical universe. The second session will offer observation time using a good quality telescope on the roof of The Studios. Two observation nights are planned in case of overflow demand or inclement weather. Young people are welcome and questions are encouraged.
