For those who have not been, Art Basel Miami is the largest, coolest, most cutting edge contemporary art event in the country. Galleries from all over the world descend on Miami Beach to display works by Damien Hirst, Ai Weiwei, Cindy Sherman, Edward Burtynsky, Jasper Johns, and pretty much any other living top tier artist you can name. Works by 20th century greats such as Man Ray, Georgia O’Keefe, Andy Warhol, and Roy Lichtenstein are also usually prominent.

Our comfortable motor coach will depart Key West in the morning and reach the convention center in time for the noon opening. We will spend the day at the main Art Basel show. Entry to the convention center is included in the price.
We’re going to be centered the whole day in Miami Beach so people can take advantage of satellite shows such as Aqua Art Miami, Design Miami, Scope, Pulse, X Contemporary, and several others. (entry to satellite shows must be paid for separately at the door).

As parking can cost upwards of $30 per day and often isn’t available near the convention center, bus travel saves significant time and money, and is significantly less stressful.
A little after 8pm, we will load up the coach to head back to Key West, aiming to arrive just after midnight.

With one of the tallest buildings – and most spectacular views – in town, the Hugh’s View rooftop terrace serves as The Studios’ creative space in the sky. The terrace sits four stories above street level and offers panoramic views of the island. The Kitwald Stage glows in the golden twilight of our sunset performances.
With original seating from its days as a Masonic temple, the Helmerich Theater has been updated to also include floor seating. As a black box theater, the set up is intimate but professional, and sets the stage for concerts and performances that leave guests feeling like they really got to know the performer.
