The Studios of Key West would like to thank everyone who made the 5th Birthday Bash such a wonderful success. Hundreds of people came to show their support, tour the new Ashe Street Residency Cottages, enjoy the plein air painting competition, and find out who would win one of the wonderful prizes of the fabulous art raffle.
Special thanks also to First State Bank, sponsor of the event, plus all the wonderful volunteers who shared their time, Eaton Bikes, and Key West Cakes for the delicious and beautiful Armory cake.
Also special thanks to all the plein air painters who participated throughout the day, as well as our artists in residence, Anne Ireland and Susan Lenz. To read about the party from Susan Lenz’s perspective, please check out her blog Art in Stiches (scroll down to the bottom of the page)
Here’s a gallery of images from the afternoon, photos taken by Michael Marrero – please be patient for a few moments as images load.
